Does your back window have a dot matrix on the top of the window?

You may need to get a Vinyl Strip applied for a cleaner look.

A dot-matrix window has a raised, black-colored dot matrix pattern painted on the glass, usually in a wide area at the top of a back window, which are in five to six inch rows.

When tinting over these dots, sometimes air pockets can result, leaving it looking messy and discolored. So that’s why it is better and a cleaner look to vinyl the matrix.
